Marulan Driver Training Centre

The Marulan Driver Training Centre (MDTC) is the HSV Owners Club of NSW preferred Track Training facility. From time to time the Club will arrange it's own driver training events at this location but the MDTC is open throughout the year and members are encouraged to take advantage of this purpose built facility to help improve their driving skills and contribute to road safety. Other Information:

Licences: Drivers Licence or Leaners Permit is not required.

Minimum Age: 15 years to drive on the road circuit

Vehicles: All road registered cars are welcome. It is recopmmended that cars are fitted with a Fire Extinguisher. An absolute maximum noise limit of 90 db at 30 metres applies.

Prior to the Day: Read the MDTC Briefing Summary and make sure that your car will comply. Check your car for fluid levels, oil, brakes, and pump your tyres up to over 35 psi.

Required Clothing: (1) A helmet with an approval label of AS 1698 or better; (2) Non synthetic footwear and (3) Non synthetic clothing with long sleeves and long trouser legs (ie neck to wrist to ankle covering).

MDTC Facilities: There is a modern cafeteria over looking the track where proceedings can be viewed in air conditioned comfort. Additional undercover spectator viewing seating also overlooks the circuit. There are clean toilets and hand washing facilities too.

The MDTC is located at 8 Prairie Oak Road, Marulan NSW, which is 133 kms
or about a 1 hour 40 minute drive from the Crossroads at Liverpool.

From Sydney:

• Follow Hume Hwy towards Canberra
• Stay on Hume Hwy past Marulan Heavy Vehicle Inspection Station
• Turn left onto Marulan South Rd (signposted for South Marulan/Bungonia)
• Turn right onto Jerrara Rd
• Turn left onto Prairie Oak Rd
• Enter No 8 - Marulan Driver Training Centre and follow driveway to carpark

 
From Canberra:

• Follow Hume Hwy towards Sydney
• Stay on Hume Hwy past Goulburn
• Turn right onto Marulan South rd (signposted for South Marulan/Bungonia)
• Turn right onto Jerrara Rd
• Turn left onto Prairie Oak Rd
• Enter No 8 - Marulan Driver Training Centre and follow driveway to carpark
