Cruises and Social

 The Club offers members and their families many opportunities to enjoy driving their cars to interesting destinations with a group of like minded people.

It is a real head turner to see a convoy of muscular HSV's driving through town. Our cars attract the public's attention whether cruising together on the road or when parked together in a group - and this adds to the excitement of the day.

Cruises usually commence by meeting for breakfast and then head off to the destination in controlled groups. A large cruise will be broken up into smaller groups of similar model cars for maximum impact.

Committee members usually control the groups through two way radios, making sure that the groups keep together and no-one gets left behind.

Destinations are many and varied. In 2009 they ranged from the Annual Cruise to Mount Panorama, Bathurst to commemorate Peter Brock's birthday, to Wine tasting tours in the Hunter Valley, inmate guided tours of Maitland Gaol and a visit to the Illawarra Tree Top Walk.
